Pledge (Letter) In regards to my submission to the 『NIIED EPIK & TaLK Newsletter』, I agree to the following terms and conditions: The National Institute for International Education (NIIED) may revise and edit my submission and use the revised contents for educational and promotional purposes (including provision to a third party). All submissions must be the individual’s own work which has not previously been awarded a prize from another organization. All submissions cannot infringe on the third party portrait rights and intellectual property rights. The applicant is responsible for the civil and criminal liability if there is any dispute with violation of intellectual property rights, third party portrait rights and defamation. ※ Applicants should be cautious not to infringe on the third party portrait rights. Any plagiarized submissions will be excluded from selection and the award will be revoked if proved to be similar to awarded work from other contests I agree to all the terms and conditions above and will not object to the outcome. The number of awardees can be adjusted if there is no suitable work to be selected. All submissions not selected will be discarded by the NIIED within 3 months from the date of selection. National Institute for International Education (NIIED), with the purpose of publishing newsletters and utilizing contents, intends to collect, use and provide personal information to third parties in accordance with the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 and the 「Copyright Act」. The collected personal information and portrait rights will not be used for any purpose other than the specified purpose; if the purpose changes, the applicant will be notified and asked for their consent.
