교육부 직속 책임운영기관인 국립국제교육원에서 다음과 같이 원어민 강사를 공개 모집하오니, 역량 있는 전문 인력의 많은 관심과 지원을 바랍니다.

근무 조건

◦ (계약기간) 채용일로부터 1년 (계약체결 예정일 : ’ 21. 3. 1.~)

※ 최종 합격자는 1년간 채용하되, 근무성적 양호 및 성과평가 결과에 따라 재계약 가능

◦ (근무형태) 주 5일 근무 <월~금, 09:00~18:00, 휴게시간 1시간 포함>

◦ (보수수준) 월 3,000,000원 <36,000천원/년>

※ 보험(국민연금, 건강보험 등) 및 제수당을 포함한 제세공제 전 기준이며, 초과근무수당은 별도 지급

◦ (주거비) 월 500,000원 <6,000천원/년>

English Education Center is Seeking A Qualified Native English Instructor

The National Institute for International Education (NIIED) is an organization under the South Korean Ministry of Education. NIIED is seeking a responsible and competent native English speaker to fill the role of Instructor for the English Education Center in Jeju Island.

1. Duties

The EEC Native English Instructor Responsibilities include the following:

Teaching ESL classes

Conducting English language skill and teaching method classes for Korean Public School teachers

Teaching online classes and create video ESL lessons

Responding to educational inquiries during office hours, including but not limited to E-mails and phone calls

Assisting in organization and hosting of public events on behalf of the ECC (Hosting duties include public speaking)

Performing other responsibilities in coordination with the EEC Education team

2. Employment Period

1 year contract starting from Mar. 1

Working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break - Working hours are subject to change depending on classes or event schedules

Occasional paid overtime may be required - Usually associated with training or special events

3. Salary

Gross salary per year of 36,000,000 KRW

Additional overtime payment

Housing allowance per month of 500,000 KRW

4. Benefits

Exit allowance of ₩1,300,000 paid to all employees after successful completion of a 12 month contract

Support 50% of the National Health Insurance and National Pension

15 days of paid vacation

5. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Citizen of a country where English is the primary language spoken and able to obtain an E2 visa in Korea

A master’s degree in English education or relevant education major

A bachelor’s degree in English education or relevant education major and two years of teaching experience

A bachelor’s degree and four years of teaching experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience proofreading and editing official documents

Strong interpersonal skills

The ability to effectively and cooperatively work in a team setting

The flexibility to work in a culturally diverse environment

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching certificates from an accredited institution

Experience with and teaching in elementary, middle or high schools

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

Understanding of Korean culture and language

A teaching demonstration will be required and the topic will be provided before the interview

10. Final Results

Only successful candidates will be contacted on Friday, February 19, 2021 after 16:00 via E-mail
