Program Overview
The Exchange Student Support Program offers financial support for selected international exchange students at partner universities in Korea. The grants cover the expenses for accommodation, settlement, airfare, and insurance fee.
Application Qualifications
- Undergraduate students of the overseas universities that are partner universities of Korean Government Foreign Exchange Students Support Program's selected universities.
- Applicants must have completed at least 2 semesters at the overseas universities and has overall GPA equivalent to or higher than 80 out of 100 percentile.
- Applicants must have applied for the regular exchange student program and must be able to complete one or more courses related to learning about Korea.
- Applicants must not have history of having received scholarship provided by the Korean government and must not be a holder of Korean citizenship. Dual citizens cannot apply.
Selection Procedure
The exchange students at partnering universities apply for the support program through the respective universities, which will then forward the applications to NIIED.
